J-School to Host West Virginia Veterans History Project Training Workshops
The West Virginia University P.I. Reed School of Journalism will host three training workshops for the West Virginia Veterans History Project. The training will provide information on the Veterans History Project and instruction on documenting oral histories from local veterans and those who served in support of them. The session will cover interviewing techniques and operation of audio/visual equipment.

"Voices of Honor: A Day to Celebrate West Virginia's Veterans"

"Voices of Honor" inaugurated the West Virginia's Veterans History Project, which is helping to chronicle the stories of West Virginia veterans and participants in all wars. Their stories will be housed in the Library of Congress, as part of a national initiative.
"Voices of Honor" featured a short film documenting WV veterans' stories, a photography and memorabilia exhibit, an interactive audio presentation, guest speakers, and an awarding of certificates of honor to WV veterans who have shared and recorded their stories.
